Poor business practices

Dishonest business practice, costumers and Insurance company’s beware you are being **********, I Did a proxy bid on a motorcycle and yet in the auction my bid never came up and the vehicle sold for less than half my offer to someone else , Hoe does one explain this and why is there even a option to do a proxy/pre bid if it does not work also how do you explain to the owner eg: insurance company , titel holder that you could have received more profits but opted to settle for half cause we of poor business practices
