Misrepresentaion and misleading adverti*****ts

I bade for a car on SMD action website with only a windscreen mentioned as a defective part. However, after winning the bid,completed full payment of R242 820.00 and about to collect the car from Boksburg site, i discovered that the car engine could not ignite. The SMD agents suggested a flat battery. However, the screen was indicating that gear P was not engaged and the car was stuck on neutral gear. I reported this to their offices and was treated with contempt and informed that at SMD they sell cars they are not mechanics and don't look like one. I requested to see a manager and referred to 2, both were unhelpful and claimed that they got a mandate from an insurance company to sell the car and would have to find out from them as to what the defects are. I waited until the site closed with no feedback. I did not take the car and left it where it was under the care of the Boksburg SMD agents. While refusing to collect the car, I was threatened that if anything happens to the car, its my responsibility. Gross violation of consumer rights as their description on auction website did not mention any other defect except the windscreen and the discrimanatory treatment with bad attitude
