********** PROFILE CREATED WITH MY ID!
Highly concerned and disgusted by SMD
Upon attempt to register a profile with yourselves to bid on auctions
I was advised that there is already a profile under my ID with a number I am completely unfami**** with!!
I called the quarry number to find out what the hell is going on To find out that my ID is being used By a Rodney whomever who resides in CPT!!
1stly I am a female which can be seen in my ID number! 2nd of all I reside in JHB and my name is certainly not Rodney!
What kind of security measures do you people have in place and how on earth do you allow something like this to happen?
I need urgent feedback on this!

We escalated your complain to our IT department to investigate.
An SMD account can be created two ways, online and physically at the SMD branch.
Should an account be open online we do not verify the account till the client submits proof of ID to SMD.
Physically at the branch the client will be request the ID.
