SMD COMPANY IN PRETORIA EAST......MY HUSBAND ALWAYS BUYS CARS THERE WITHOUT ANY ISSUES UNTIL MID LAST YEAR WHEN HE BOUGHT ME MY ENGAGEMENT GIFT TOYOTA ETIOS IT WAS FIXED AND TAKEN FOR ROAD WORTHY AND EVERYTHING THE CAR PASSES NOW THEY FAILING TO GIVE ME THE CORRECT PAPERS UNTIL I GET TO LICENSING DPT THEY TOLD ME PAPERS WAS ***** SOMEONE IS ALREADY USING IT . ALL THEY DO IS PROMISING TO CALL AND NOTHING I WILL BE THE ONE PHONING THEM AND GUY CALL HIMSELF A MANAGER IS TELLING ME TO TAKE THE CAR TO BENONI AS IF IT MY OWN FAULT THAT SOMEONE IS USING THE DISK OF THE CAR THEY SOLD TO ME.. WHAT THAT? NOW I MUST SKIP MY WORK DAYS TRAVELLING TO BENONI LOOKING FOR SOME GUY I DONT KNOW SO I HE CAN TELL ME ANOTHER STORIES AGAIN......SMD U REALLY MADE ME FEEL LIKE STUPID I HAVE STRAGLING WITH TRANSPORT WHILE IAM HAVING MY OWN CAR NOT TO THINK OF TRAFFIC COPS THAT WILL BE STOPPING ME FOR THE DISK.....HOW CAN YOU SELL A CAR WITHOUT GD PAPER SOMEONE IS USING THEM AND YOU SENDING ME TO GO TO PLACES TO FIX YOUR OWN MISTAKES...I WONT LET YOU ***** ME LIKE THIS AND IAM TIRED OF YOUR LIES TODAY IT THIS TOMORROW IT THAT FURTHER STEPS WILL BE TAKE I JUST CANT TAKE IT ANYMO
Allow us to clarify that cloning of vehicles (which is what happened to you here), happens at the Licensing Office and not at SMD, as we do not have access to the eNaTIS system.
Unfortunately this vehicle was cleared and dealer stocked at the time of sale, which is a standard procedure at SMD, but was cloned after this but before you had a chance to license the vehicle.
We can try to assist if you send us the details of you complaint along with the registration number of the car in question to ***.
