False and Misleading Advertising

I bought a vehicle from SMD - The adverti*****t stated Code 2 / 1.6i with AAPV numbers / No starter / So buying from SMD for the past 5 yrs whenever i purchase i understand the risk of buying damaged/****** and recovered cars but not blatand misleading and false advertising for economic and undue gain. Upon sending the vehicle to my VW they advised me that vehicle is NOT 1.6i but 1.4i. This is really a false advertising and misleading just to make the sale. If i had know the vehicle was 1.4i and not 1.6i i would have had reconsider my purchase. I knew it had AAPV and was ****** and recovered but to advertise the vehicle as 1.6i knowing its 1.4i is theft. To make matters worse the vehicle was bought from Hollard Insurance who in my view knew that SMD is misleading the unsuspecting public . I'm consulting my attorneys on the way forward.
