False advertising!!
SMD I am very disappointed with the condition this car is in that was purchased from SMD Polokwane! This is not what was advertised on the auction ! It was mentioned that this car is a starter and it is not , SMD has chosen not to share pictures of the underside of the car why?? . The car displayed on the timed auction is not in the condition I received it .those pictures are old and not recent , this according to law is false advertising and I'm not happy at all & I'm not settling for this. I understand fully about your terms and conditions and respect it 100% ,I have bought from SMD this way before and had no problems with what I received, what I saw is what I got but this is not the case. I spoke with Joy (branch manager) who has confirmed the pictures were taken over one year ago and was suppose to be updated ,she had asked me if I'll accept a credit note under my SMD profile to purchased something else and I agreed. Now yesterday I've being told a different story about selling the car on my behalf on the auction but what happens should it not go for the amount I paid for it? Would SMD pay the short fall?
I am needing a response to what's happening with this matter as I'm now preparing to take this matter further!

As seen in the terms and conditions, vehicles that enter SMD are started and a picture has been taken of the rev counter to display this and added to the website. Viewing is encouraged before you buy the vehicle or you are able to call the branch for additional information or pictures of the vehicle before purchasing.
You have been in contact with the Branch Manager who gave you the option to sell the vehicle on your behalf. We will offer you a reserve price on the vehicle.

Please note that your terms and conditions was noted as mentioned before , you have failed to justify why have you'll advertised a car with pictures and information that goes back over a year plus (your staff has confirmed this) . As in the past there was no need for me to call and request additional pictures as what I've seen i got but this time was not the case.. Please feel free to come collect your vehicle and place back on the auction as you'll mentioned.
