Bought vehicle from SMD auction and the police took

Good day

I bought vehicle from SMD Port Elizabeth last month. (Audi A4 model 2007). Yesterday driver the car to the lock smith and where South Africa police closed me down. The saps said that vehicle is wanted by saps of Port Elizabeth with case number 145/2017. The saps took me with the vehicle camp third South of Johannesburg and where they said they keep the vehicle. I contact with Smd and I spoke to Frekkie and Steven of Smd auction. Both this gentleman was rude and did not want to help me at all. Instead both of them were giving Smd auction different story about the car. The saps of Johannesburg show me the note is made on saps system of that car that is wanted in Port Elizabeth. The vehicle was suppose to cleared before it was sold and that was never done. The vehicle was suppose to go back saps of Port Elizabeth before Smd sold it to me that is the note on the saps system. The vehicle is with saps in Johannesburg for further in investigation. I don't have car that paid R30.000 and R20.000 to get it fix. Frekkie and. Steven promise to get back to me today but I have not heard anything from them.

Good day,

The vehicle that you bought was sold as a ****** and recovered vehicle. Should you want to use a vehicle that is not on your name, you will need to apply for a temporary permit. The onus is on the buyer to register the vehicle before using it on the public road as per the road traffic act. We did check the vehicle record and the vehicle was already cancelled and cleared on date of sale.

We followed all legal routes that are required by us when selling a salvage vehicle. Frikkie did try to explain the above and to assist.

Take this vehicle back and give my money back. Explain to me why is there case still open on the vehicle. Please send me the clearance. Should I really take the legal route

Explain to me why do the saps of Port Elizabeth want the vehicle back on case number of 2017? This vehicle was taken yesterday because 2017 case

Frekkie, promise to send agent so where is agent. You guys have sumthing to hide that why the agent never came like Frekkie promise. I'm waiting for the clearance? I will proof to the court that case is still open and Port Elizabeth saps wanted the car. Not worry my attorney will deal with Smd. I'm meeting my attorney tomorrow at saps where car stand in order for him request all detail then we will see who is lyibg
