SMD Sandton - September 2021 -We bought a vehicle from them and registration papers received were **** as apparently King Price Insurance had requested a duplicate copy of the registration papers after we had bought the vehicle from SMD. We queried as to why and was told the papers would take 21 days to get a duplicate copy. Nothing received. After threatening legal did they decide to refund us the costs of the vehicle and any repairs already started on the vehicle, we were to send the vehicle to the Cape Town depot. Which we did at our own costs - this now being the 15th December. All invoices and costs for the vehicle incurred already with the manager of Sandton and she assured us a refund is forth coming. Todate no refund of vehicle or costs incurred and this despite being assured we would be reimbursed. - TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. SURELY ITS ***** TO BE SELLING A VEHICLE WITH **** REGISTRATION PAPERS?
