Disappointing service from SMD Durban branch

I recently purchased a trailer online from Durban SMD and had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon arranging to either collect or resell the trailer, I discovered that it had mysteriously disappeared before collection. I personally visited the branch to address this issue and was informed by both the branch manager and a Mr. Edward that my trailer had been moved to another SMD site.

The branch made several promises regarding the resolution of this issue, none of which were fulfilled. Frustrated, I raised a complaint with the customer complaint division through multiple emails, but received no response. When I called SMD to discuss my problem, I was told that complaints are only handled via email – which, as mentioned, are not being responded to.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the very poor service I received from the branch and SMD in general. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If there was a zero rating option, I would definitely use it. I would advise others to be cautious and consider other options before dealing with Durban SMD.
