False advertising

This company spams you with "50% discount" ads only to end up with the exact same or in some cases still even higher (after their "50% discount" has already been deducted) prices than what you can find at most other (normal) retailers throughout the country.

Take this link as an example:

http://www.smartbuyglasses.co.za/designer-sunglasses/Oakley/Oakley-OO9181-RADARLOCK-PATH-Polarized-918 ********** 26.html?feed=za+criteo&utm_source=criteo&utm_medium=retargeting&utm_campaign=za_criteo

Where else does these glasses cost a whopping R6186?! Ridiculous...

I then sent them a mail alerting them of this, only to receive a short response from them to refer me to the fact that they do have a "pricematch guarantee" - so if you alert them of the fact that you can get a better deal somehwere else they will match or better that deal - so they're basically asking you to shop around to get a better deal (which I can promise you you will get basically on your very first click!) and then go back to them with that price so that they can match it in order to get business from you... what a ridiculous business principle/mindset is that?!

And then people don't understand why so many of these types of companies gets liquidated each year... good luck to anyone working at "SmartBuyGlasses" - if I were in your shoes I'd start looking out for my next job asap...
