****mer Alert!!!!- Dishonest Locksmith
Do not trust this Locksmith. I had called him to fix the locks on my butler and door yesterday and he agreed to an amount of R1100. After waiting for hours, he did not show up and instead sent his worker who did not even have the proper tools. My door lock was fixed but my butler wasn’t which now poses as a safety risk. Thabiso Ngele from Smartlocksmith tried to force me multiple times to pay the full amount but I refused as the job was half done. He then requested R800 for Arnold Moyo to use some of the money to buy the lock for the butler and both men promised to return today to fix the butler lock and get the remaining balance thereafter. In the morning I called Arnold who told me he had the lock but then proceeded to state that Thabiso Ngele told him not to come as he did not receive the payment, which was mind-boggling because they both had the POP and received the immediate payment. When I called Thabiso he started coming up with lies stating that he doesn’t have the lock and has to order it which could take weeks. When I told him about the contradictory statements, he got aggressive and said he would not come and that even if we reported him to either his bank or the SAPS, nothing would happen to him or his business. Just like the other reviews I caution you to do business with this company as it seems he does this to a lot of people thinking we will do nothing about it. He is also a smooth talker who will intially give you a higher rate and then reduce the price under a guise only for him to increasethe price when the worker gets there. DISHONEST LOCKSMITH
DO NOT USE THEM They tell you calm out fee is R150 when you phone, then they charge R1500 once the job is done for “labour”. They spent less than 10 minutes on the job, and charge R1500 for that. Then when you refuse to pay their fee they threaten you with violence.

**** alert!!! DO NOT USE SMART LOCKSMITH JOHANNESBURG. Say they charge R150 call out fee. Then charge R1500 for lock removal. He didn’t fix the lock - it can’t open - and now says he doesn’t have time and will see when he can help. It’s been a week and he hasn’t n come back to fix it. Also extremely rude.
