Stretches and dents
What a waste of my money :-( this is a ****. They never fix anything. I logged a claim and they asked me to send pictures I had to literally call them every day to ask for feedback and now they tell me about an estimated quote that is above what they can pay for.. When I took the insurance they never said these things. Now I asked them to send the feedback in writing as I am planning to take it further, they still didn't. I regret that I paid once off 24 months insurance with them. But never again

25 Feb 2021, 14:28Dear Madam,
After a thorough view of this complaint we noted that the claim in contention was reported on the 22/02/2021. It was advised that the vehicle sustained scratches to the rear bumper and required repair and restoration thereof. The normal claims procedure was followed whereby we requested to send photos regarding the required maintenance.
Upon receipt thereof we referred the damages reported to one of our nationwide body maintenance shops to attend to the assessment and quoting of the vehicle’s damages reported.
Upon receiving the requested quotation – we proceeded to reject the claim as the damages quoted for which equates to R 11,616.00 exceeds the policy indemnity limit of R 4,500.00 VAT inclusive and regrettably is specifically excluded from the scope of cover.
Please note that any maintenance work in excess of the limit is usually not minor maintenance and may be covered under a comprehensive motor insurance policy. This means that if the quote is received and is over R 4,500.00 the damage will no longer be defined as maintenance.
Kind Regards,
