Notorious Non-Payers

Their basic modus operandi when faced with a claim is to start bundling in any other damage whether you are claiming for additional items so it goes over the policy maximum payout and they can throw out the claim.

I was warned of this by multiple garages.

You can make all the phone calls/emails/visits you want clarifying that, for example

They have just posted an official private business reply: Resoved (sic)

This was not resolved at all! I paid for the repairs privately and have had no further interaction with these people - for them to write resolved is just a further demonstration of their bad faith and dishonesty.

My previous comment was cut off when the website format changed - what I wrote was they try to find and include any other damage on the car to the claim (even though youre not claiming for it) then state you have gone above the maximum. No amount of calls/emails/visit clarifying the scope of the claim is addressed - they are simply looking not to pay out and I came to learn from garages this is well known within the industry. Every wheel has a degree of s****ing, using that to throw out a ding to the bumper is absurd (even though wheels are no part of the claim).

It is shameful for BMW to be associated with these people.

Also should be noted that the website conversion changed all the 1 stars to 2 stars. I just had to change it back to 1 manually so presumably a lot of the other 2s should be 1s.

Avoid this company.
