Company refuses to refund for services not rendered

My wife works for an occupational health service provider based in Johannesburg. The company contracted Smart by Sue to provide them with coorporate uniforms for the 2014 finaincial year. And for those workers who wanted extra uniforms, over and above what the company was willing to provide were asked to pay extra monies to Smart by Sue. My wife is one of the prople who opted for this. However, somewhere along the line Smart by Sue did not deliver the uniforms they were contracted to supply and an alternative supplier was sourced by the company. Now efforts to try and recover that amount that was paid directly to Smart by Sue have hit a brick wall. Initially we called the company and they told us that they changed ownership. When we called the supposed new owners, they professed ignorance of the matter and eventully they stopped taking our calls. Efforts to try and recover the monies through the bank have not yielded anything as the bank (FNB) advised that the client was an active account user and therefore would not divulge the contact details of the company transacting on the account. Making a fruad claim with teh police has also not yielded any results.

We are greatly dissapointed by the service not rendered by Smart by Sue Uniforms.
