Smart Business Managament - ****!!!

<p>I was employed by the above mentioned company on Feb 1st 2017. The position was advertised as a basic of R18 000. I went to the interview and was told it was R8000 p/m, R3500 car allowance, free fuel, car insurance, medical aid, UIF, pension, I was also told the company would pay my car insurance. I was also told I wouold receieve a company laptop and cellphone.</p> <p> </p> <p>Training was supposed to begin on 1st Feb as per my contract. After two weeks of excuses I was told training would start on 13 Feb. I then called my supervisor who assured me I would be paid a full month as it was not my fault the trainer was unavailable. On 28 Feb when I was supposed to be paid, no payment was made. When I enquired I was told because I started on the 13th I would only be paid on the 13th of the following month, and surprise surprise I never or my car allowance either.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then there was a long story as to why they would not pay my car insurance. They eventually allowed my fuel allowance.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was then paid on 13th March, but had to wait for my car allowance which would be paid on the 28th, I then receieved R3000 instead of R3500. During this time I recieved a promotion. I again called my supervisor who said I would be paid my normal salary on the 13th and my promotion and allowances on the 28th. The 13th April came along and again no salary paid When I enquired I was told that because of the promotion I would be paid all my money and allowances on the 28th (which fell on a Friday long weekend) Needless to say nothing was paid.</p> <p> </p> <p>I enquired whether I would be paid for a 6 week cycle from 13 March to 28 April and received no response. I had 3 emails stating 'please see attached payslip'which no attachment.</p> <p> </p> <p>I received no email or phone correspondance from anyone in the company as to what was happening. On Tuesday after the long weekend I got an email to say the company was closing. Attached was a form to complete and sign for my retrenchment package. I sent it back the same day and was assured it would be paid that night. Again, no payment.</p> <p>Smart Business Management</p> <p>I have now approached the Department of Labour to assisit and will be suing for 6 weeks salary, 2 months car allowances and my retrenchment package.</p> <p> </p> <p>Do not accept any job offers from this company. They are a bunch of ************ and *****. My financial situation is not a complete mess and they have disappeared off the grid. They will see me in court!</p>
