FORMAL COMPLAINT AND PUBLIC WARNING I am sharing my experience to warn others about what happened to me. I app**** for a loan and was informed that I needed to pay a once-off legalization fee of R4,999. I was repeatedly assured that once this payment was made, the loan amount would be paid into my account within 30 minutes. Trusting these assurances, I paid the R4,999 using my last available funds and immediately sent proof of payment. However, after the payment was received, I was informed that I now had to pay an additional fee of approximately R6,000 before the loan could be released. This additional fee was never properly disclosed before I made the initial payment. Had I been informed of all the requirements upfront, I would never have proceeded. I feel that I was misled into making a payment based on promises that were not honored. When I explained my financial situation and requested assistance, I was told that the transaction could not be reversed and that I would still need to pay more money. I then requested a refund and was provided with a cancellation form. Despite complying with their requirements, I am still awaiting the return of my funds. As someone who was already in financial difficulty, this experience has caused significant stress, anxiety, and hardship. I believe consumers deserve complete transparency regarding all fees and requirements before being asked to make any payment. I urge anyone considering doing business with this company to exercise extreme caution, thoroughly verify all information, and never send money unless every term, fee, and condition has been clearly explained in writing beforehand. I am currently pursuing all available avenues to recover my money and have retained evidence of all communications and payments related to this matter.
