Solar & Inverter installation

Solar and inverter installation was not done correct, and owner keeps on saying it is because of loadshedding. The batteries charge the whole day on solar, and does not last for 1 hour during the night. When the same batteries charge for 4 hours on Eskom electricity, it last almost 4 hours?? That mean that my installation was not done correct, because I did not even get 300 cycles out of my 8 batteries.
