SM STRUCTURES
<div>From December 2020 signed contract with SM Structure to build my house. To date a shell of house with a couple of panels. Payment in full has been made to SM Structures with a very disappointing, sad and unprofessional service from them, SM Structure management sends a 2 man team for 2 days a month in return. I do not call this a pleasant experience as they advertise to give their customers. I have been given reasons / excuses from weather to non delivery of their suppliers to internal staff problems to personal problems regarding their staff for not proceeding with the building. I will give updates on my experience and I truly hope that I can rewrite my review on SM Structures on a positive note but until then I suggest all researchers to look at all reviews.</div>

11 Apr 2023, 15:45You have conveniently left out the delays that stemmed from your side. Your failure to get your plans approved as you had no architect for submission, your ground was not correct in terms of the contract and foundation design had to change as well as various weather delays. Furthermore you have been updated with the completion of your unit being done shortly

You have conveniently left out the delays that stemmed from your side. Your failure to get your plans approved as you had no architect for submission, your ground was not correct in terms of the contract and foundation design had to change as well as various weather delays. Furthermore you have been updated with the completion of your unit being done shortly

11 Apr 2023, 16:55When we first approached your company it was made very clear there was a slope and was lead to believe this was not a problem the foundations would be on stilts, we were assured that it not issue and was shown the show room on your property which are stilts to give a example. This was before the contract was drawn up.
My Engineer drew up plans from the findings of survey and topmologist report, it was discussed with you and asked repeatedly if all was in order regarding the expertise needed for building. Your answer was yes.
The delay of waiting for plans to be passed by the municipality was due to the fact of they were waiting for NHRBC certification from SM Structure so they could be passed.
Once the certificate received it was a matter of days the plans were passed not weeks as I had to wait.
I confirm Mr. Steve May**** did contact me once my post went public and has confirmed and again given his word that this project will be completed by end of June 2023.
Hoping this time round of extending the time line again to complete this project will able myself to post positive updates.
