Non Communication/Misleading clients (Slow Lounge hidden costs)

On 24/10/2016 and 31/10/2016 myself and 2 friends utilized the Slow Lounge at JHB International. We were NEVER informed that there were any criteria/charges and there were 3 of us to verify this and we went twice.

I now hear I must pay JP (he used his credit card) R1000 for the few snacks I had in the Slow Lounge because they didn’t advise us that its only free if you have a certain balance in your account! We would NOT have used this facility had we known OR we would have used the other traveller's credit card as she had a higher balance but none of this was communicated to us.

This is totally misleading and unacceptable that the staff do not advise or advertise the fact that there are limitations and criteria pertaining to the supposedly "free" service FNB offers! Why is it not spelt out clearly? Where is the signage to advise weary travellers of this fact?

I feel this is FALSE ADVERTISING to the extreme! Also, I have just had one of the sales people from FNB come try to sell us accounts at my office and she mentioned this "perk" and AGAIN there was no mention of it costing an exhorbitant R500 per visit!! Who in their right mind will pay this for some snacks??
