I have been using sloppy kisses for years and today that comes to an END. I dropped off my maltese for grooming and when I picked him up he's right eye was irritated, after a few minutes, the eye shut. I went back to sloppy kisses and they told me it must just be hair in his eye and that it is not their fault, it happens all the time, they took me to the groomers section so that they can wipe the eye. The groomer used a cotton pad that she lifted from a bowl of used/dirty cotton pads to rub his eye. I decided to go home and give it time. After an hour I sent sloppy kisses a picture and asked if I should take him to the vet. They rep**** that it was up to me, I asked if they would pay for the vet bill, they called and said that they have a disclaimer that it is at the owners risk and they aren't liable for anything and after a long and rude (Joanne) back and forth, they said I can take him to the vet to assess whether it was their fault or not and if it is, they would cover the bill. Long story short, the vet confirmed that my dog was in a lot of pain (evidently by the squinting) and that the injury occurred at sloppy kisses. They never said sorry or had any empathy towards the situation or their actions, they are rude and condescending.

I will never use them again!
