Mike @ Sliding Windows Manufacturers BAD service

After 10 weeks of contact with Mike Mullineux at Sliding Window Manufacturers in Montague Gardens CT, a job that at the time of quoting would take 10 working days to complete, we still have not received the product.<br> <br> A deposit has been paid and the owner Mike assured us that he had manufactured the components but was waiting for a fly screen to arrive from his supplier.<br> <br> But every week we inquire to the progress there is a new story from the owner Mike and another week's delay.<br> <br> Yet another promise was made for final delivery this Fri 13th but just today we received a call from Mike saying that there would be yet another 2 week delay. Our deadline has now been exceeded by 5 weeks!<br> <br> We are fedup and made this clear to Mike who immediately and very childishly said that we would not receive the product any longer and that he would return our deposit.<br> <br> The above attitiude indicates that he in fact has never started the project as otherwise he would surely be looking to recover his expenses and not so easily give it up. <br> <br> Our problem is that we have waited 10 weeks and paid a 50% deposit on a false promise and received nothing but a lot of grief, bad attitiude and terrible service!
