SLEEPMASTERS MEGACITY - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

I requested my Mom to buy a bed for me on the 23rd Dec. She went to SleepMasters Megacity in the morning and was assisted by Noma. My only condition for the purchase was that the delivery is done same day (needed a bed delivered as Im based in JHB and would be coming home for xmas) to which she promised it would be delivered same day. I even confirmed with her telephonically as well as on whatsapp. Full payment incl delivery done. BED WAS NOT DELIVERED ON FRIDAY AS PROMISED!

I arrived home on the 24th Dec (expecting my bed), I again communicated with Noma and she was not aware the bed had not been delivered and she sent me a whatsapp confirming delivery on the 24th (this was after she spoke to the manager).

At 13:37 I called the store ***) and Noma wasnt there, then spoke to someone who identified himself as the Store Manager. I explained who I was, gave him my details and he told me the bed is in a truck at the warehouse, I asked if it would be delivered he rudely repeated it’s in a truck at the warehouse. I then requested for a refund as they had not kept their promise. HE DROPPED THE CALL!! I tried again to call back at 13:38 no answer.

It’s xmas day today, still no bed. What a dissappointing experience!! My expectations have not been met. Why take my money when you know you are not able to deliver. I could have easily gone elsewhere to buy a bed or arranged alternative delivery. SLEEPMASTER HAVE RUINED MY HOLIDAYS!!

Sleepmaster management pls work on customer service with shop floor staff especially people you appoint in management roles. That store manager does not deserve to be called Manager at all. He is a disgrace!!!
