Sleepmasters - CAUTION, THINK TWICE before purchasing from them

I'd rate it a no star, but there is no option for it. We've shopped AND paid in store at Sleepmasters Arbor Crossing, Amanzimtoti KZN, on 25 Nov 2021. We were informed of same day delivery before paying, but opted for the next day, as we still had shopping left for the day. FYI, Shopmasters' website indicates fast delivery of 2-5 days, and 10-15 days for special products...this is a normal bed, normal lenght etc. Then, 8 Days later, the store manager phoned to inform us that the warehouse was out of stock due to Black Friday (we bought befòre then). Another week later, the store manager phoned again to inform that delivery will be made in the coming week. This is now more than 2 weeks later and no delivery yet. In the meantime, we received an sms indicating the mattress protecter we purchased with the bed would be delivered on 8 Dec, and that someone should be available to receive it. Only to receive another sms on the 8th that it would be delivered the following day (9 Dec). No surprise - no delivery on 9 Dec, and also no indicating via sms, phone call or email in this regard. This morning at 11 Dec at 09:18, we received a phone call indicating delivery of the mattress protector within 2 hours. After once again availing ourselves the whole day in order to receive the item, delivery was only made at 17:04....still no bed!!
