Garbage Customer service at Mthatha Sleepmasters and their JD Group warehouse

Worst experience ever in Mthatha sleepmasters, I bought a bed at 12:51 but received it at 17:20. I was sent from pillar to post between their JD Group warehouse and the Store, the Store says they made the payment but the warehouse can’t see it. Eventually they told me it has a block that they said has nothing to do with me but their system. Even then the Warehouse lady said it is not their problem I must deal with the Store myself, I made numerous calls while standing at the warehouse, I went back to the Store 3 times before I could get the bed 4 hours later. I called the head office they told me I was supposed to be sent to the warehouse from the first place cz customers are not supposed to be sent there themselves, I asked now that I am there what can be done, the guy on the phone said he cannot assist me I need to go back to the store and complain there, I went back a lady named Phakama claiming to be acting manager said to me she isn’t aware of the information That I wasn’t supposed to be dealing with the warehouse myself cz that’s what they normally do, customers go to the warehouse themselves there to pick up their beds. I had to go fetch the Salesman named Monde to go with me to the warehouse so f which he called before we went and told them we are coming, we still got there and waited more than an hour to finally get the bed.

A very stinking attitude from their JD group warehouse lady, a very Stinking attitude from the Acting manager at the store who seemed misinformed about everything.

They even tried to sell me a dirty bed on display at the store and claimed they will give me a discount which will pay for a mattress protector, which I did not understand cz they wanna give me a discount but I must still use that discount to buy a mattress protector, how’s that even a deal cz I’m still paying for both.

I’m not even gonna mention the lack of masks from the staff, from that Monde Salesman guy, The Sanitizer guy at the door, Acting manager, everybody no mask, I walked in without mine but nobody said a thing to me, I then wore it infront of them but still they didn’t look for theirs and wear them, there was also a lady sitting there eating behind the counter in front of customers, like…guys what type of customer service is that.

Mthatha Sleepmasters and their JD Group warehouse, you are the worst stores I’ve ever had, yeah I mean the entire Mthatha serves bottom of the barrel service but I didn’t know it can be this much, I don’t think it can get worse than what you guys provided me. Driving from the Warehouse to the Store 3 times and waiting 4 hours to receive a bed and basically getting no assistance from the call centre as well…clearly the entire sleepmasters is garbage
