Dishonest and rude staff Sleepmaster Keywest

On Saturday 2024-06-29 I took my daugter to the Sleepmaster store in Keywest mall, Krugersdorp to purchase a bed. While the lady was busy capturing my daughters details I enquired about the delivery costs. The lady informed me that delivery costs are R350 and it will be included in the price. We also asked for a price on a double bed mattress protecter and she said it is R699. My daughter said she should add a mattress protector to the total price of her credit application. While they were busy with the paperwork I brosed the Sleepmaster website and noticed that the standard delivery charge is only R295 nationwide and that the price of a double bed mattress protecter is actualy R299 and not R699 as quoted by the sales lady. I also phoned the Sleepmasters store in Cradlestone mall to confirm these prices and they confirmed that the prices that I have obtained from the website are indeed the correct prices. I emediatly confronted the sales lady about her increased prices and she said the R295 delivery charge was last years price and the new price is R350. I emediatly told her to cancel the sale because I don't have time for their dishonesty and I will not allow my daugter to be ******** by her with her inflated prices. The sale was canceled and we purchased a bed at a different store. I will never buy anything from Sleepmasters Keywest and wil not advise anyone to support them.
