Bad and slow to say the least

I went to sleep masters west street in durban and did a lay-bye on a headboard and pedastal they had. After a few months n money being paid i receieved a call that the product i had put a laybye on was no longer on offer. I was offered something else which i didnt like since the actual product wasnt available for me to physically see. I then told them i wanted my money back. This was on the 8th of August 2018 and they said fine, but i need to submit a bank statement n copy of my id. Which i did, was then told that R30 would be debited from my R1000 that i had already paid since i wanted a refund. I asked how long it takes and was advised 2 weeks. It is now the 14th September and i am still to receive my refund. How do some company's conduct business? I am applauded by their service and expect someone to call me back, since i have to now chase them for my money.
