Cancellation Fee rip-off - read the fine print!
I made a booking on [URL Removed] early this year for end of the year holiday in December. Made a small deposit of R5400 now they want to take over 50% of this deposit as cancellation fee. It says the cancellation fee is 10% of the deposit but when you read the fine-fine print it gives another explanation. Never mind that I'm cancelling many months before, they still want to take 65% of my deposit!!! Such bad bad business ethics! Sies man!!!

I am sorry that you had to cancel your booking. Yes the cancellation fee is 10% of the booking value and VAT must be added to this. Your cancellation is approximately 5 months after the original booking date.
Please note that establishment cancellation policies are not in the \fine print\". The cancellation policy is on the front of the establishment's quote directly under their message to you and in the same size font.
