Inferior Quality of Mattress

<p>I purchased a mattress in 2010 from Dial n Bed Ni City. The salesman reassured and recommended the forty winks and told me i shall never have to buy a bed in the next 15 yrs. 7 years later, i have been expereincing lower back problems which is directly attributed to the inferior quality of the mattress. They sent out a rep from Sleepword the manufcaturer who agreed the bed was damaged. I am now being told by Sleepworld that I must pay 50% of the retail price which is approx R4000 for a replacement new mattress. Despite my appeals and expalnations they are adamant that I must pay that amount. I find this ********* as the salesman never mentioned any form f payment required if the bed gets damaged and secondly Sleepworld is enriching themselves by charging 50% of the retail price. Customers need to be careful especially when buying from Sleepworld and their factories as this is a *******. Salesman make the most glorious promises byt unfortunately u get the run around when u need to claim. I have requested a report on their official letterhead but I'still waiting</p>
