Broken promises and lies

Broken promises I contacted Slavin on the 4th Feb and requested a quote for the refurbishment of my kitchen. This is then how the time line played out. 4 Feb - Survey was done on site. No follow up from Slavin 13 Feb - I emailed asking for the quote 13 Feb - Quote received 13 Feb - I emailed accepting the quote and asked when the job could be done Silence 16 Feb - I emailed again asking when the job could be done 18 Feb - Email reply "looking for a time in production when job could be scheduled" Silence 22 March - I emailed again asking when it could be done. No reply 27 March - I emailed again asking when it could be done. No reply 04 April - Finally had a reply to say invoice would be sent to me 10 April - Invoice sent to me. Request for 100% immediate payment! 16 April - Payment made and proof of payment sent to Slavin Request to Slavin to complete the job before the 25th May. 16 April - Reply from Slavin. Agree to complete before the 25th May. 1 May - Request by Slavin to collect cupboards 4 May - Request by me to delay stripping of cupbords until 9 May 9 May - Cupboards collected by Slavin SILENCE 21 May - I sent an sms to find out what was happening 22 May - Second site inspection to apparently "confirm colour of cupboards" 23 May - Central island collected by Slavin 24 May - installation of resprayed cupboards 25 May - installation continued 27 May - installation continued 28 May - silence STILL WAITING FOR FEEDBACK AND DELIVERY OF CENTRAL ISLAND.

As I am sure you can imagine, no matter how good the cupboards are, the broken promises and lack of any kind of service ethic, has left a very bad taste. It is truly remarkable that a fairly simple refurb of existing cupboard doors has taken 4 months and counting.....

I would not recommend using Slavin for any kitchen builds.
