Slaley Bistro & cellar - what a dissapointment!!

What was supposed to be a well deserved year end function, turned out to be an nightmare from hell. After waiting for one and a half hours for starters that was pre orderd, the quality and consistency of the dishes was an absolute let down! Dried out pre sliced bread and dishes missing components was the least of or troubles. Other tables smoking and the staff unwilling to ask them to quit, spoilt what little there was left to enjoy. My understanding was that public places was smoke free zones?<br> <br> The Main courses was an absolute disaster! more than half the hamburgers was unedable, after returning it to the kitchen, tables had to wait more than 40 min for it to be returned! The chicken salad was wilted greens with green avo's that could not be cut with a knife and fork. In all my years I have never encountered the term \ aged souvignon blanc"??? Presenting your best souvignon blanc as a 2007"
