Skywise leaves Planeload of passengers stranded
Arrived at ORT at 18h00 on 9th November for the 20h00 flight to Cape Town. Checked in and told that the flight was delayed till 22h00. Waited at airport, was called at 20h00 and requested to make my way to the boarding gate as another plane had been made available for the flight. Got there and waited till 21h50. Told by counter staff that flight had been cancelled. Told to go to the Skywise ticket counter for an explanation. Entire plane load went there (by this time all else at the airport was closed) Manager apologised and said that Skywise dont pay for accommodation or anything else and that any refunds would take up to three weeks. This is by far the worst case of a company acting *********ly I have ever seen. There were women and tourists who had no means to get accommodation and transfers to nearby hotels. Skywise just left them there and left the manager to take all the flack. One irate passenger told her to contact the CEO which we assume she did. They were not interested in out plight,

Unwise choice - will certainly adivse anyone NEVER to use them
We apologize for the way things turned out on the 9 November 2015. We had an unexpected delay with the morning flights which caused a knock-on effect with the rest of our flights. This ultimately caused our last flight for the day to be cancelled. Skywise is currently issuing due refunds as stipulated in our terms and conditions.
