Cancelled 6am flight to Cape Town

I was booked for the 6am flight to Cape Town for business. When I wanted to check in for my flight they said it was cancelled and that I would only be able to fly at 9am. If I wanted to fly at 9am I would have booked a 9am flight. I am only in Cape Town for one day to conduct business. Now I have even less time than I thought. I am also going to miss a very important meeting because of this pathetic service.
