Broken luggage

I flew from Johannesburg to Cape town, when I arrived to collect my luggage the ex tractable handle on my suitcase was broken. I did report it, but no one came back. I want the luggage repaired or replaced. The cost for the suitcase is more than the air flight ticket. Poor service.
