DSTV installation technicians stole cellphone charger from the house and overcharge for installation services
Please don't keep your eyes away from the technicians from SkyTech Dstv Installers Pretoria East when they are working on your DSTV installation or repairs at your home, they took my wife's original Samsung cellphone charger which was in the bedroom with them when they left my house "by accident" (so they say). She noticed that her cellphone charger was no longer where she keeps it immediately after they left the house, and I called them and when confronted with evidence they admitted that they "accidentally" took it with them and they undertook to bring it back the next day. It s been more than a week now since they undertook to return it and everytime I call them they undertake to bring it back the following day and that has been happening for more than a week now. My wife has decided to buy another charger because I have been promising her everyday that they will bring to back, which they never did. They also charged me almost R5 000 for labour to replace an older model decoder with an explora decoder and **** a set up, and when I protested they reduced it by 30% but I ended up paying R2 500 (which is still high for replacing a decoder with another decoder ad setting u a new decoder). They claimed to have installed new DSTV cables which was a lie as the decoder that they replaced was already connected to the DSTV dish with two cables, and they only needed one cable to connect an explora decoder. Please also be careful when you hire them and ask them to quote you before thy start the job to avoid being overcharged. The technician who was in my house is apparently the owner of the business.
