Worst Courier Experience In 2025!!!
On 30 June 2025, I purchased a license disk via the RTMC platform and received immediate confirmation of payment.
I also downloaded the PDF receipt for my records. What was not made clear at the time of purchase is that RTMC outsources delivery to a third-party vendor — Skynet Worldwide Express.
On 7 July 2025, Skynet issued a tracking number. I was charged R99.99 for delivery, yet I have received nothing to date. I monitored their tracking system, which proved unreliable. After multiple failed attempts to reach a representative, I finally got through on 10 July, only to be told their system was down — a fact that should have been proactively communicated. I was assured the package was within 50km of the delivery address and would be prioritized due to the missed 3–5 business day delivery window.
I was then explicitly promised delivery on 11 July between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate this. The delivery never happened. No call. No update. Nothing.
I followed up again on 12 July and was told the package would arrive Saturday morning. Once again, I waited. Once again, no delivery, no communication, and no one answering the customer service line. The phone rang endlessly — no voicemail, no callback option, no accountability.
This is not a minor inconvenience. It is a complete failure of service. I have exhausted all reasonable channels — Facebook, WhatsApp, email — and received nothing but empty promises and silence. Skynet’s WhatsApp support ignores messages, and their Facebook team offers generic responses with no follow-through.
I have since discovered that my package is sitting in Avoca, a location within the same postal code as the delivery address. There is no justifiable reason for a 10-day delay on a local delivery.
This experience has been unacceptable. Skynet Worldwide Express has demonstrated a blatant disregard for customer service, contractual obligations, and basic professionalism. I am now formally putting both Skynet and RTMC on notice: if this delay results in any financial or legal consequences, I will pursue legal action without hesitation.
RTMC must seriously reconsider its partnership with Skynet. Associating with a vendor that operates with such inefficiency and contempt for customers reflects poorly on your organization.
To anyone reading this: avoid Skynet Worldwide Express at all costs — unless you’re prepared to wait weeks for a package and fight tooth and nail for basic service.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST EXPERIENCE. ZERO COMMUNICATION.
