Why is anybody using SkyNet?

Ok, I could have been warned. Since Terminator 1 in 1984, everybody should have a bad expectation, when being confronted with a company, that calls itself "SkyNet". Having successfullly ordered something as simple as a Vodacom Simcard on the 1.12., SkyNet managed to top my worst experiences with any deliverycompany, which includes DHL and SA-Post. Two weeks after the announced "will be delivered before 5pm today"-sms, I'm still waiting without any further reaction from them to whatsapps or calls other than "we've been busy lately, please be patient". Pathethic ....

What I really don't understand: Is nobody at Vodacom, Telnet or any other of the big companies reading reviews like on hellopeter, before deciding for a logistics-partner? I mean, >85% 1-star-reviews with devastating comments about reliability and responsiveness should trigger some kind of warning in a managerbrain, or not?
