Warning Against Skynet Courier’s Unacceptable Service
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with Skynet Courier, the company responsible for delivering my Vodacom order. Their service has been nothing short of *********** and unacceptable, and I strongly urge Vodacom to reconsider using them as a delivery partner.
My Experience: Severe Delivery Delays – My parcel was promised within 3–7 business days, yet it has been over 9 business days (13 total), and I am still waiting. Lack of Communication – I had to continuously follow up as they failed to proactively update me on the status of my parcel. Failure to Confirm Address – Despite Skynet claiming the driver could not locate my address, they never reached out to confirm it. When I provided my correct address (including my unit number, UNIT J, in my emails), they ignored this and later asked me for it again. No Accountability – I requested either immediate delivery or an address where I could collect my parcel myself, yet I have received no solution or proper response. Widespread Issues with Skynet Courier: After this frustrating experience, I researched Skynet Courier’s reputation across multiple platforms, including Google Reviews, Facebook, HelloPeter, and other review sites. What I found was alarming:
Overwhelmingly negative reviews, with the majority being 1-star ratings. Countless complaints about delayed deliveries, lost packages, unresponsive customer service, and false delivery claims. Many customers expressing similar frustrations about Skynet’s complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I have attached screenshots of these reviews to support my claims. This is not an isolated incident—Skynet Courier is consistently failing customers.
Vodacom’s Reputation is at Risk By continuing to use Skynet Courier, Vodacom is putting its own brand reputation in jeopardy. A reliable courier service is a crucial part of the customer experience, and using an *********** delivery partner reflects poorly on Vodacom.
I urge Vodacom to review its partnership with Skynet Courier and take necessary action to avoid further harm to customers. This level of service is unacceptable.
