Unreliable Delivery Updates and Frustrating Experience

Absolute nightmare of an experience. Two days ago, I received an SMS in the middle of the day saying "parcel has been received for delivery" along with a tracking link, followed shortly by another one advising me to stay at home because the package was going to be delivered. Oddly, I got another message in the evening with the same "parcel has been received for delivery" and a tracking link again, which was confusing.

Typically, I'm used to receiving "out for delivery, stay at home" SMSs when the package is actually on its way to my house. I chalked it up to an error, assuming something went wrong but at least the package was close by, so I figured I'd get it the following day.

But of course, not. The next day, I again received two SMSs, one after the other, saying my package was out for delivery. Then, two hours later, another message saying "parcel has been received for delivery" with the same tracking link. Another day wasted being told to stay and wait for a delivery, and yet another day ended without receiving my package.

I don't know why they keep sending these pointless updates if they have no intention of delivering. This game of being told it's coming and then being told they just received it is incredibly frustrating. I have things to do, and there's no reason to send these types of SMSs if they're not planning to make the delivery. It's infuriating to get these misleading updates and being pinged with notifications that mean nothing.

If they're not going to make a delivery, then don't SMS me telling me to stay home and wait for one.
