Paid double handling fee

We ordered a piece of electronics from Netherlands and the item itself was around R1473 and R450 in shipping and handling.

A few days later the item arrives in Johannesburg and we get an email from Skynet saying that they have the item, and it's going to cost R225.54 in customs fee, and R350 in "import admin fee". I don't have any issues paying R225.54 to customs, but in my opinion we already paid the "import admin fee". That is another type of handling fee, and we already paid that as part of the shipping.

I thought about complaining right there and then, but since Skynet actually says we have to pay another R1500 if the item isn't paid for within 12 days, we decided to just get through the process and pay up.

However, you can be sure that we are not going to use Skynet again. Based on other reviews I've read online and discussions around the office, it's evident Skynet in South Africa is a courier with generally terrible customer service so I shouldn't really be surprised with your exorbitant double fees.
