Investigation and FULL REFUND

It has come to my attention that my shipment was destroyed. What I don't understand is that I wasn't notified of such even the documentation that was signed does not stipulate such. I paid my supplier and they delivered the shipment. An amount of R12090 was charged and paid for including R2070 and a penalty fee of R1500.

My issue is that according to the tracking system, my shipment was destroyed on the 4th of October and I made the penalty fee payment in November. Why wasn't I notified then that the items where destroyed.

Secondly, there is a return address, why would those things not be delivered back to the source?

A gentleman who I have been in contact with never made me aware of this, even after check how much was understanding. A lady from skynet international told me that they do not notify the recipient, customs department is responsible for that. So why was allowed to make a payment for something that is destroyed.

There is no call I received nor email from customs to notify me that the shipment will be destroyed. I have spent more R35K on that shipment.

Can I please have some answers or I'll simple go to the news with this.

No email nor documents stipulate such action from customs.

I can I be refunded my full amount not just what I paid to skynet.
