How to lose customers and frustrate people.

I cannot bvelieve that a business the size of Skynet is so pathetic! I ordered a cell phone online from Vodacom and they elected to have it delivered to me via Skynet. The initial process was smooth sailing and within 2 days I received sms's that the parcel was on the way. Two days later, I received a confirmation from Skynet that the parcel had moved to the Rustenburg branch and would be delivered that day between 8am and 5pm, with a tracking number. I changed my plans for the day and ensured that I was at home, waiting for the call that they were at my gate. I tried calling their call centre 3 times that day to see if I could get clarity on the time or where the driver was, but their phone was not answered. Later that evening I checked the tracking progress and found that they had recorded it as a "Bad address" and returned to the Rustenburg branch. I tried calling Skynet again, and even Googled a number for the Rustenburg branch, but neither number was answered. I eventually got hold of Vodacom Aftersales department and they kept me on the line for over 40 minutesd (but at least it wasn't coming off my talk time minutes) and they eventually got hold of someone at Skynet and transferred the call to him. He confirmed my details and found the address on Google maps! He also confirmed the cell phone number as correct - so there was no reason that they couldn't have delivered the parcel, or at least called me. He said he would get the Rustenburg branch to call me to arrange delivery... Still waiting for that to happen... The next day I checked the tracking again and it has been updated to state that the consignee is not available - failed delivery! Once again I tried calling headoffice and Rustenburg branch but the phones are not being answered (20 minutes holding on at a time and leaving a voice message at the branch). I even phoned another company in the same complex as the Rustenburg branch and the manager there offered to walk across to the Skynet office and place my number in the manager's hand and ask him to call me - but still no luck! How does a company with such poor customer service stay in business?
