How can you be a delivery driver if you can’t drive

This morning my parcel was delivered. I was out and arrived home to a delivery van outside my gate hooting. On the instructions for delivery it stated “please call. Do not hoot!” But there they were hooting. Driver and passenger couldn’t say hello, didn’t say anything to me in fact. I signed for the parcel and watched as the “driver” could not reverse his vehicle out of the 3 meter driveway. He stalled 4 times, and almost crashed into my gate. Once has had momentum he was inches away from crashing into a vehicle driving down the road. I tried to call the call centre 3 times to lay a complaint (how can you be a delivery driver if you can barely drive) and I was transferred 3 times to either a driver or a customer or no answer. I never got through to the person in charge of the branch. What’s the point in having a delivery instruction box on the form if the driver isn’t going to use it. And no they never tried to call me. It’s just ridiculous service
