***** at Skynet worldwide express.

This is a long story, so please bare with me.

I ordered a leather jacket from Leathermadness on the first of August 2018. Skynet Worldwide was used to deliver the Jacket from Karachi to Cape Town. Things went wrong from the start. Due diligence requires that all documents be present before departing for destination. Skynet didn't follow due diligence and forgot the commercial invoice. Package got delayed in Dubai from 11 August to 19 August. Things went smoothly from there until it reached Cape Town.

On day of delivery on the 27th of August, I waited at home the whole day, but no delivery arrived. Waited the next day, still no delivery. Called Skynet worldwide and inquired about undelivered package. The said they would investigate and get back to me. About two weeks went by with no feedback. Tried to call multiple times, no answer or just busy. I decided to take action and go to the warehouse.

Spoke to Ashton Haupt, International Operations Supervisor and Ruben Snyers, INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT PROCESSOR. This is what the situation is according to them. It looked like their driver went out and never returned with the package even though the driver insisted that he did. They had video evidence that he was lying and believe that he stole the package. They were going to take the driver for a polygraph and get to the bottom of this. According to them this would not take to long and we would resolve the issue of the undelivered package asap.

Things started getting worse. A few days after my visit to their warehouse, their system indicated delivery was successful. I called and they said they are suspecting ***** and will be investigating. Since then I have been given the runaround being told that this will be solved by next week, then regional senior Lost control Manager is on leave, they are still investigating , please supply invoice for the package. At no point have I been given a claims number.

Today, October 29th, and I'm still struggling to just get the claims number or any support from Skynet worldwide. Skynet worldwide is even pretending this didn't happen.

The sender is ready to send the new package and all I need to know is what happens with customs. I have never written on Hellopeter, but is shows the desperation I'm at. I believe that I need to escalate this issue even further.

What will be my next steps? I will inquire at the ombudsman what my options are as well as lay a theft and ***** case against the company. I feel that I'm at a point where I have no choice. I've been patient, understanding and descent. They have abused it.
