False status reports regarding delivery

I had two packages that were processed separately but both I was informed will arrive today 15 September 2026 by 5pm. One package arrived, the other never did. Surprisingly after 17h00 the status on the app indicated, they attempted to deliver but no one was home. This is not true as there is only one courier agent who called and although I did not answer (I was on a work call) he texted on WhatsApp and I immediately responded. The other agent did not contact me, even if I was home, if they actually called I would have asked they leave it with security. This is disappointing as I was looking forward to today’s delivery.
