Delivery guy lost my parcel

A week ago I paid for my car disc licence on the Capitec App, there was an option of a second number or person who can pick up my parcel when I am not home, I filled in the box. Saturday a delivery man named Gift Fede sends me a WhatsApp saying he is at my gate to deliver the parcel. I tell him I am not home he can contact the second number as an option. I continue to resend him the number of the person who is in the house. He did not call the person but left the parcel at the gate and sent me a picture. When I asked the person who is in the house to go look for the parcel it was ******. I now have no idea the way forward. I need help ***,***7
