Blatant disregard for customer service

Regrettably this is the second Hallo Peter review I have had to write for Skynet this year, and even though they make no attempt to contact you to discuss their ridiculously poor service, it is apparently the only way you can get them to deliver your parcel.

According to the tracking link on myUnisa, my study material was dispatched from Pretoria to Heidelberg on the 25th of July, however to date nothing has been delivered.

On the 1st of August I phoned the Skynet customer service line and spoke to an extremely rude and unprofessional Sweetness. She informed me that the driver attempted delivery on the 31st of July, however there was no one home to receive the parcel. When I informed her that my delivery address is a security company that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week she then stated that she will need to get Grace to phone me back as she is unable to assist me. To date I have had no calls from Grace.

On the 2nd of August I phoned the Skynet customer service line again and after spending an eternity on hold, spoke to Cindy (who again is not the most professional person I have come across in my lifetime). She informed me that they in fact only received the parcel from UNISA on the 1st of August and that is currently with their driver to be delivered (I would love to know what they tried to deliver to me on the 31st of July then). Cindy also informed me that the driver has 4 days to deliver my parcel, which I find absolutely ridiculous to begin with, and that I can expect delivery on Monday the 7th of August.

Needless to say that today is the 8th (exactly 2 weeks after the parcel first showed as out on delivery) and I still have no study material, with 4 assignments due in the next 2 weeks.

If this was not bad enough, my sister who also happens to stay in Heidelberg and who registered 3 days after me received her study material on the 29th of July, without any issues.

I would like to thank Skynet for their blatant disregard for the future of UNISA students and for negatively impacting on BOTH my semesters this year, at least I now know that I can count on you to ALWAYS be unreliable.

Waybill Number: UNPD **********
