BEWARE SKYNET SOUTH AFRICA looses company deliveries - PATHETIC service & no communication

<p>Skynet is the worst courier company i have had the displeasure of dealing with.</p> <p>i dont have an account with them but my supplier uses them for the last 6 years they were recommended by myself (big mistake on my part) 3 of my colleagues saying they were cheap. Cheap doesnt mean reliable because in the end the losses you suffer amount to more than their cheap rates. I receive goods in a clinic and deal with thousands of suppliers. a parcel was supposed to be delivered to us in Dec 2016 but never arrived it was urgently required. Skynet gave us the run around no communication. Apparently they misplaced the parcel and had could not recover it. instead of keeping me or the supplier in the loop they avoided calls and kept passing the blame on different people. The supplier has insurance with skynet but know they are taking months to pay them. a colleague of ours also has a skynet account they have stopped dealing with them because they damaged an extremly expensive vaccine fridge and delivered it while shattered glass was literally falling of the box refused to take it back same MO blaming the other branch. The worst part is they refused to pay and only threatening them they agrred to pay for half the repair cost. nowdays i ensure i tell every company i deal with to not use skynet because of this. they overcharge you and only when scrutinizing the statement do you realise this apparently small companies who dont spend alot make queries abouth the overcharges that the attitude of the accounts department but they jump down your throat for late payment, skynet says that if your account is small then you dont really matter, but 100 of those small companies having an account with them equals to a substantial amount of revenue. imagine when the big companies hear their procedures and how they treat clients. Eventually they will turn to other more reliable companies. Their attitude, staff incompetence and rude tone results in a lack of customer service is abhorrent compared to any of the courier companies that deliver to us. Companies looking for courier services must do a background check on them first. dont know how they got the unisa delivery contract but that is an enture drama on its own, poor students failing because of non deliveries of textbooks.</p>
