Stay away

I would like to warn people to stay away from SkynetCorp. I took a tablet with a cracked screen to him for screen replacement in May 2015 along with a R1300 deposit. He indicated that the screen needed to be ordered from overseas. <br> Here is a summary of updates regarding the repairs:<br> 22/05 - something went wrong with paperwork from manufacturer - will take 5 weeks to land in SA<br> 28/07 - workshop was raided and everything ******, busy processing insurance claim, will replace tablet<br> 07/09 - have ordered replacement tablet from England, will take 3 weeks to get here<br> 09/11 - need to clear at customs and will cost R700. Also an advisory saying that I booked my tablet in at my own risk and that no other company would replace the unit<br> 11/02 - asked me whether he could replace my tablet with a 2nd generation model, to which I responded yes<br> <br> To date - he has disappeared, all emails are returned, website has been taken down<br> <br> This whole incident has left me short of a tablet and a hefty deposit. I will be very hesitant to support small home businesses in the future.<br> <br> <br> <br>
