Solar panel and inverter problems

<p>Baught solar panels form Skiking solar and was assured an 1 year guarantee. </p> <p>I baught an total of 18 x 300w solar panels which cost me allot of money.</p> <p>Also baught 2x 6kw hybrid inverters, 8 x 250AH gel batteries.</p> <p> </p> <p>The solar panels worked perfectly and after about 3 months i went to the roof to do an checkup and found that 1 panels glass was shuttred, nobody ever goes up there, it has not hailed or anything so what could have happned? I took Skyking up on their 1 year guarantee, but they said it is not their responsibility. </p> <p>Replaced the panel after a argument and everything worked untill about 2 months later when another panel did the exact same thin.</p> <p>So i am in construction and have seen this issue before with harned glass, if there is an slight crack on the edge of the glass. It gets installed and months later just shuttres up completely for no reason. This is due to the fact that direct sun heats the glass and then it cools down again this continuous expasion and contraction encourages the crack until it finally gives in and the whole gass shurres up, exactly like my solar panels.</p> <p> </p> <p>So how can this be my problem? To replace the panel is +-R3500 .. Should i take responsibility for their faulty products?</p> <p> </p> <p>Also another BIG issue the inverters. I have reported about 2 incidents where my inverter does not want to charge the battery bank (built in mppt charger) so when you report this they advise you to bring the unit in for an check up.</p> <p>This unit weighs 66kg and is mounted to the wall by couch *****s so its quite a task to just remove it to take it in but i had to do this 2 times so that they can replace the mppt charger which was faulty.</p> <p>Not mentioning the time and work to disconnect all cabled and reconnecting them when you get back.</p> <p> </p> <p>NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.</p> <p>AFTER SALES SERVICE NOT GOOD</p>
