BAD BAD SERVICE
On the 15th of December 2023, I went to the above-mentioned retail store and purchased two new pair of Puma sneakers to the value of R1500 combined and at the same time I made a lay bye of ladies Puma sneakers size 5 to the value of R650 and paid R250 as to hold it. On the 21st of January 2024 I went to the store to release my lay bye and they brought me a pair of adidas sneakers for kids and I told them that is not what I lay bye. I am totally not happy with the service rendered from the staff as the lady (Pretty) who was helping me on the 21st gave me her cell number saying I must send her a WhatsApp on Monday to remind her of my query and same done, she responded by saying her manager requires to see me as he was also confused. I took my time from work to go and listen to the manager. He told me that the receipt shows that I placed a lay bye on those kids' sneakers, I should either take other sneakers or the store can refund me, of which I do not accept the refund and it is them who captured the incorrect shoe details on their systems. I always do lay byes with retailers like Woolies, and they are very careful and competent when dealing with customers purchases. I would like the store to allow me to buy Puma sneakers of my choice to the max value of R1000 however I am willing to pay the remaining balance of my lay bye which is R400 as they really inconvenienced me. I had plans when I choose those sneakers.
I hope the store will hear and understand my query and resolve it in an amicable way.
Kind regards Mpho Mothiba ***
